Lodging

The scientific organizers offer you the choice to either find and book your own accomodation for your visit or to ask the PSI2-board to book you an hotel closeby the venue.
If you wish to book yourself an accomodation of your liking, like for example an airbnb within the center of Paris, we would like to ask you to keep the maximum reimbursable amount in mind, communicated to you by the scientific organizers.
If you wish to to solicit the service of the PSI2-board to find, book and directly pay for your lodging closeby the venue, please indicate this on the registration form and you will be contacted soon hereafter.

The default hotel during the MCTDH program, depending on the week of your attendance will be the appart-hotel Residhome à Bures or the Hotel d'Orsay 

Residhome à Bures offers very convenient spacious studios for our guests, including a private and fully equipped kitchen. In the evening the hotel offers catering service. The hotel will arrange transport to the program venues IDIRIS and CEA in both the morning and evening. In the weekend there is a shuttle that brings guest to train station Le Guichet with a direct connection to Paris downtown.

Hotel d'Orsay is very close to the station Le Guichet, with also busses leaving to the plateau where the CEA-venue is located, every 12 minutes. From the plateau busstop to the entrance of the CEA-venue is then a 10 minute walk.

Venues

The MCTDH program will be held at the two different venues due to organizational reasons. Please find below the details of both venues :

week 1 : 25-30 September

IDRIS-CNRS, Campus Universitaire d'Orsay, Rue John Von Neumann, Bâtiment 506

week 2-4 : 2 - 20 October

In building 209F of the Institut d’Astrophysique Spatiale (IAS) on the University Paris-Sud campus in Orsay. The 209F is equiped with 7 triple offices, a meeting room for up to 50 people and a large common/coffee room for informal discussions. This is where most of the MCTDH activities will take place.
